Light oh Light, cannot be captured
pure beauty, heavens’ grace
softly touching a deep longing
leavin’ a gentle, twinkling trace…

Artistic Nature Photography
My name is Ronald Peeters, I am 70 years old, and for nearly 40 years, I worked passionately with young people as a biology teacher in secondary education. Ever since the rise of the SLR camera, I have immersed myself in nature photography.
In the initial years, I was mainly guided by my biological perspective on my surroundings: dragonflies, butterflies, blossoms, and mushrooms – captured with an eye for detail and razor-sharp clarity. Since 2015, I have adopted a much more artistic approach, allowing the light to inspire me. My primary goal now is to convey my impressions of nature, which is expressed in more artistic – both figurative and abstract – images, with a sense of wonder at their core.

In my life, I feel inspired by my connection to Mother Nature.
This bond is for me a source of stillness, life-force, and trust.
Time and again, I am touched by the beauty of Mother Nature.
Again and again, I long to be outside, for the early morning light,
the mist above the fields, the serene silence,
the awakening of butterflies and dragonflies.
They whisper to me to embrace Life with open wings
and to be receptive to Her unfathomable ways.
